Walter washout systems clean concrete mixers virtually back to new without the need for staff to enter the pan for cleaning. This breakthrough in cleaning technology solves a long term headache for concrete producers and helps the industry take a major leap forward in the field of health and safety. How it works

A high pressure pump housed in a self-contained heated enclosure generates 110 BAR / 1500 PSI water pressure. A ring main feeds high pressure water to a series of patented cleaning heads mounted to the mixer covers at strategic intervals to ensure optimum cleaning performance.  Four or five heads are required depending on the diameter and configuration of mixer. Each head operates individually for 2 1/2 minutes giving a cleaning time of 10 or 12 1/2 minutes.

Unique, patented three dimensional rotating cleaning heads accurately direct water jets at concrete built up during production. High precision cleaning geometry ensures effective operation with minimal water usage.  Where other systems use spray to rinse the mixing pan, Walter heads direct water jets to act as a cutting tool and provide maximum penetration.
