Abrasive sand, gravel and crushed rock were causing repeated replacement of the steel wear lining in a rotary aggregate feed chute on a high volume readymix plant. Maintenance downtime was causing lost production. The heavy steel plate and inaccessible location made replacement a high risk activity.

Hawiflex® polyurethane bonded with Evostick 528 & bolted

Steel wear liners: 2 months - 22,500 t
Hawiflex® wear liners: 36 months - 142,000 t (still operational)
